Sponsor the Show
What We’re Building
Today, we (that includes me, guest speakers, volunteers, and collaborators) are building a community of learners and educators who care about language as a way of connecting — not just performing fluency.
Our videos explore mutual intelligibility, language families, overlooked dialects, and the real-life messiness of multilingualism. Sometimes it’s raw, sometimes it’s poetic — always rooted in real people, real stories, and a love of language.
We’re not just producing content — we’re creating space for connection and reflection.
What Kind of Sponsorship I'm Looking For
I'm not looking for one-off ad placements or product shoutouts. I'm looking for partners — people or organizations who want to invest in the long-term development of the show and help it grow in depth, quality, and reach.
I believe sponsorship should:
-
Make the show better — by funding better audio, thoughtful editing, and the ability to bring in experts or new voices.
-
Support continuity — so our audience gets to know you over time, not through one-off promotions.
-
Align with our values — language education, cultural connection, curiosity, and accessibility.
-
Be part of the creative process — not just stick a logo on the end.
What We Don’t Do
To keep things clear:
-
No one-off "ad reads"
-
No unrelated product placements
-
No guaranteed view counts or viral promises
Why I Don’t Do One-Off Sponsorships
We’re an experimental, variety-driven channel. Some videos reach hundreds of thousands. Others quietly reach the people who needed them most. Either way, it’s slow, honest work — and we’re proud of that.
And while I do appear in many episodes, Ecolinguist isn’t just about me. It’s a collaborative space that often includes guest speakers, volunteers, or entire communities behind the scenes.
That’s why I don’t insert quick ad reads or drop in unrelated product placements. They interrupt the flow of a series, create tonal inconsistencies between episodes, and — most importantly — can break the trust I’ve built with the audience.
Each episode is part of a bigger conversation. Cutting into that with a sales pitch feels out of place — especially when learners are showing up for something thoughtful, human, and culturally grounded.
If you’re considering sponsorship, I’m looking for a partnership that adds genuine value to the show — and meaningful visibility for you.
When support leads to deeper conversations, better production, or new voices on the screen, it enhances the experience for viewers — and your brand becomes part of that impact.
What We Can Do (Together)
With the right partner, we’d love to:
-
Co-develop a mini-series around a specific language family or linguistic theme
-
Invite expert guests who can deepen the conversation
-
Improve production quality and platform accessibility
-
Expand into new languages or underrepresented communities
-
Train new hosts or community collaborators
This isn’t a quick campaign. It’s an open invitation to be part of something meaningful — and to help shape where it goes next.
